Duck Inn in Skamokawa

Duck Inn is terrific watering hole if doing the Astoria loop from PDX or SEA by motorcycle, car or bicycle. Staff extremely friendly, the locals and view from the back on the deck - inviting. Try their "Halibut Tacos!" Yep Halibut Fish Tacos. Great place to meander to and from the Washington side across from Oregon' North Coast. Enjoy!

Wasn't the best service, had to ask for drink refills and find out own napkins. Food wasn't too bad, nothing amazing. Requested no lettuce, it came wrong, ordered deep fried mushrooms, they were cold inside. Let the bartender know and he really didn't seem to care at all! Won't be back again.

I had breakfast this morning and it was excellent. Lots of food for a very reasonable price. Very good server and my eggs were even hot when I got my breakfast.

Good food had the halibut sandwich it was fresh not frozen very good and the Reuben very surprised how good the corned beef was really good and they have a salad bar option instead of fries

Service was excellent. They do have all you can eat salad bar. The ATM is currently not operable. They got rid of the pool table to put in shuffle board but it is not yet installed.

They had 2 tables inside with people and offered us the deck in the sun or to go somewhere else which I thought was rude. We opted for the deck but my 6 year old daughter walked to the other side of the deck and the waitress yelled at her that she wasn't allowed on the other side of the open deck or we would have to leave, so we left to spend our money for a group of 9 people somewhere else. Not a good experience.

We stopped by to get a bite on our motorcycle trip. The food and service were amazing. Courtney was our server and she was very sweet and a joy to be around. The steak was the best I have had in a long time. Thank you. We will be back!

This place I stumbled upon when I had to disc golf tournament. Great service awesome food and drinks are reasonably priced. If you thinking about going here I would 100% recommend this place.

Was a good place to stop for lunch. I had clam strips and onion rings. Was as expected. Great deck to sit on out back. Service was very good.

I've been going to the Duck Inn for 7 labor days now. It's gradually getting Less Fun and the food is not that good. Not sure if we'll be back.

Nice lunch, burger and fries, club sandwich, a little hard to find, would benefit from a larger sign.

I had the Taco Omelette. I thought it was too salty and didn't taste very good but the salsa was good, so I used a lot of that. The waitress was wonderful. She kept her cool considering the place was packed and the owners knew it would be, Car Show weekend. I've heard they're really good so I'll probably go back when it's not so busy.

Best fish tacos ever

We had a large group of more than twenty people and we were easily accommodated. The service, especially for such a large group, was very good which had the entire party impressed. The burgers we ordered were fantastic. The size is the stuffed burger..that's one big burger! We will definitely make another stop at the Duck Inn.

A nice place to stop for a burger and a beer. I just had one the other day. They have a lot of other items on the menu that are good, too. The bar side has TV's for watching sports and a pool table.

Fresh salad rib eye steak

Great compared to other choices in the area, but they would do good to think outside the box and have Vegan items on their menu, besides just a salad bar.

I really like this place a lot. It's been a constant in the community for many many years. The views are spectacular. The people are Very friendly and the service is great.

Great food, friendly staff, and decent prices. The clam chowder and garlic bread was exceptionally good and the service was quite fast. The dining area and restrooms were both very clean.

Huge portions!! My friend ordered the nachoes off the appetizer menu. I ordered some chicken strips. She asked how many and i said 4. Oh gosh they were huge too! My grandson ordered hot chocolate, it was a big mug topped with lots of whipped cream and chocolate syrup!! What a filling meal!

Their staff are always nice... I just wish they would change up the menu every 4 years or so... But I'm sure they feel like if it's not broke don't fix it. The food always tastes good and fresh. Also for some reason every time our family eats here it makes everyone have to go to the bathroom within the hour...idk why that is! lol

The ambience with the view of the water, the service was speedy, and you can't go wrong with thd chicken quesadilla- delicious.
